Wild Dogs

Directly responsible for the continued pressure on 14 native threatened species, and an $89.3 million economic impact on lost agricultural productivity every year, wild dogs are an ever-increasing issue in the fight to recover native habitats and protect agricultural operations.

Increasing wild dog attacks on humans reported in the media have highlighted the issue further, along with the disease risk to humans and livestock with neosporosis, neospora caninum and hydatid tapeworms. The AVert team are highly experienced in the trapping, baiting, and shooting of wild dogs; with a specific expertise in stock protection, utilising commercial specification thermal imaging, drone and geospatial mapping and tracking of pack movements to build an eradication plan for long term protection.
