Introduced into Australia by early settlers, Rock Pigeons (Columba Livia) can make themselves at home in almost any structure, urban or rural. Aside from the dust, smell, and corrosive faecal matter issues, the presence of feral pigeons also brings health human issues such as respiratory, heart and kidney disease and salmonella. 

Acoustic devices, trapping and poisoning are often ineffective with Pigeons. AVert Services’ preferred Feral Pigeon method of elimination is shooting, using sound suppressed systems and thermal sights, as well as more traditional systems.
